We are the inventor of the Sym-Right™ measuring system for all artists, at all levels, wanting to sharpen and train their "artist's eye" for a keener sense of symmetry, balance, proportion and angles to their art.
The artist simply views his or her subject through the grid pattern window,
to visually break up the subject into smaller proportions that are seen in a new and refocused way.
The Pro-Slide features include a 1" grid pattern on a large Plexiglas window, a 180 degree sliding protractor with a straight edge pivoting string and a bubble level. Used for a full picture of the art subject. (Stand not included)
The Hand-Held features include a 1" grid pattern on a Plexiglas window, a 180 degree protractor with a straight edge pivoting string, a bubble level and a versatile handle for holding or attaching to a fully adjustable tripod stand (stand sold separately).
The Hand-Held was first developed to measure the overall symmetry, balance, angles and proportion of the art subject. It was later discovered to be useful for the measurement of the inner eye angle of taxidermy mannikins.
Giving you a steady base, our Tripod Stand is uniquely designed for use with the Pro-Slide, Hand-Held, and even the Mini-Pro measuring tool.
Made out of solid oak, this stand holds the Mini-Pro in position as the artist studies the balance, proportion and symmetry of smaller subjects.
The Eye-Right Mini-Pro is a condensed version of the Sym-Right Pro-Slide and Hand-Held that has been popular with sculptors to measure angles, symmetry, balance and proportion of their work.

Spotting and correcting mannikin eye angle flaws before the eyes are set.
These cylinders are used to extend the inner eye angles out from mannikins. Sold as a pair, one has a heavy duty sandpaper end to adjust angles by sanding. The other has a smooth surface to adjust angles into clay. Both are used in conjunction with the Mini-Pro tool.
